For My Sister supports an end to human trafficking and so can you
For My Sister is a work of fiction based on a very real global crisis.
The web of human trafficking involves tens of millions of victims and hundreds of billions of dollars, with a presence in every continent on earth. Millions of these are children. And the number keeps rising by the minute.
The launch of the book aims to heighten awareness of this dark industry, so together we can play a part in dismantling it.
With increased awareness, we can talk more. We can share with others that do not know the many stories of missing girls everywhere.
My hope is that For My Sister will inspire you to find out more about this topic, and perhaps to even collaborate with the advocacy efforts to eradicate the trafficking of girls and women.
For My Sister supports various international NGOs working to end human trafficking. While I am not a trafficking expert, I have come across many organizations on the grounds every day, working to end this form of modern day slavery.
Here are just a few nonprofits you can give back to that I came across:
The Majority Of Trafficking Victims Are Girls & Women
Human Trafficking Transactions Exceed The Sales Of Illegal Firearms
The more support gathered for this campaign, the bigger its impact.
Every single person can make a difference, and there are multiple ways you can get involved:
